This is Build-A-Rug's most exciting offering to our customers. You will be able to design your own custom rugs online through our simple 7 step Build-A-Rug (tm) process. Here you can personalize your custom rugs and watch every step of the way as your custom rugs are being created with over 1000's of choices. We break up the design process of custom rugs by Themes so you will only be offered selections that fit within your theme and how you want your custom rugs to look. Since Build-A-Rug will build each are rug custom to your specification, we will only offer the finest materials to select from.

Here's How Simple it Is!

Step 1:Select a Theme for your Custom Rugs.
Step 2:Select the Color or Pattern for the main area of your custom rugs, typically known as the field.
Step 3:Choose the Size and Shape of the custom rugs.
Step 4:Select a Border to surround your custom rugs (this step is optional).
Step 5:Select your finish of either Binded or Surged for your custom rugs.
Step 6-7:Review your custom rugs order then Submit.

Build-A-Rug will allow you to purchase a Snippet, and your custom rugs will be saved in our records. A Snippet will be samples of the texture, color and actual carpets that will be used in your custom rugs. We will deduct the snippet price off of the full price of the rug if and when you decide to order your custom rugs.

Submit Special Order: Personally Designed Custom Rugs
Use this method if you want to work with an area rugs designer directly. We can match colors from fabrics, create any unique size and shape imaginable for your Custom Rugs. Any other requests you may have will also be handled about your custom rugs. Just fill in some basic information so when Build-A-Rug contacts you, we will have an idea of what you are interested in for your custom rugs.
