Warranty
Build-A-Rug Inc. will provide a 1 year warranty on all custom rugs that we build. The Warranty will cover the workmanship of the rug.
Online Security
You can trust your purchases online with us. We offer the highest available online security on the internet. Each online transaction is encrypted and protected from theft. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect your sensitive information.
Privacy
Your Personal Information is yours and Build-A-Rug will keep this information private. Your Information will not be sold are shared under any circumstances. The information you provide will be used for the sole purpose of Build-A-Rug to process your order and to keep you informed about our latest products, sales, and offerings. If you would like your e-mail address removed from our systems contact us at questions@buildarug.com
Payment
Build-A-Rug accepts the following payment methods online:

Full payment is required at the time of any purchase. Build-A-Rug ensures the highest of consumer security. We offer secure online transactions that are encrypted at the time of any payment.
Every credit card transaction requires the following validation:

The name entered must match the name on the credit card. |

The user must turn the credit card over and enter their CVV2H or 3 digit security code. |

The billing address entered during a purchase must match the billing address of the credit card used.

We take protecting our customers from credit card fraud seriously. Any signs of credit card fraud will be reported
to the proper authorities immediately.
Legal Notices
Build-A-Rug Inc. is not responsible for pricing errors due to typographical, loss of internet service, or programming content errors. Build-A-Rug reserves the right to cancel an order if an error is found and to contact the consumer immediately to notify of such cancellation.

Build-A-Rug Inc. offers a patent-pending Build-A-Rug process. This process is to be used only in conjunction with the www.buildarug.com website. Use of this technology for personal gain is strictly prohibited. Use of the build-a-rug process is monitored under web-based technology. Any individual, entity, or agency using the Build-A-Rug process other than creating a rug with the intent of purchasing a custom rug through Build-A-Rug's online ordering process may be prosecuted.
Shipping Information
Shipping Damage
Please do not accept any packages from the shipping carrier if the package looks damaged. Contact us immediately after refusal and we will contact the carrier. If your custom rug is found to be damaged during the shipping process it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours of receiving the rug. After 24 hours of delivery we will not accept any claims related to shipping damage. It is the consumers responsibility to
Shipping Rate
Rates are based upon the carrier, the size, weight, and region of your custom rug. The shipping rate will be calculated at the time of order.
Shipping Methods and Philosophy
We currently use UPS as our primary carrier. However, based upon your order it is under our discretion to choose another common carrier. Currently, we only ship in the Continental United States. (Note: If the order is outside the Continental United Stated please contact us for possible shipping methods available to accommodate your request.)
Build-A-Rug will always try to offer the most competitive shipping rates available at the time of an order. We firmly do not believe in hiding the shipping cost in the purchase price.
Delivery
A custom rug usually takes 4-8 weeks to complete. Once complete the rug will be shipped out to the address provided in the order. A "Hot Rush" may be requested at an additional charge. Inquire within for a "Hot Rush" delivery on your custom built rug.

Rug Care
Based upon the materials used to create your custom rug, a rug care guide will be provided to the consumer. The rug guide will provide a list of acceptable cleaning methods dependent upon the fibers used.
Returns
Non-Custom
There is a 15-day return policy on all our stock rugs that are not considered custom. Returns will not be accepted after 15-days of receiving your rug. Refunds for a stock rug will not be provided after this 15 day return policy. Dependent on the manufacturer of the rug you will be charged a 35% - 50% restocking fee for all returns
Custom
Since your custom rug is built for you personally there are no
returns,
Unless there is damage caused
by shipping, or there is defect or flaw in materials used to create
your
custom rug.
If there is damage due to shipping we must be
notified within 24 hrs of receiving your rug. Please Do not accept
any
package from the carrier
if the package looks damaged and notify us immediately upon refusal.
In the case of shipping damage or a manufacturer defect in the rug,
we will provide a replacement of the exact rug the was built for
you.
It is the responsibility of the consumer to pay for the shipping of
the rug back to our
showroom, where it will be thoroughly inspected. (Note: Shipping
costs will be reimbursed to
the consumer if the custom rug does have a defect or flaw that is
determined
to come from the manufacturer of materials, or if it is determined
the
rug was damaged during the shipping process.)
Any defects or damages caused by the consumer will not be accepted. This includes tampering, soiling, misuse of chemicals, cleaners, or pet damage. All Returns will be tested by an independent flooring inspector. The independent flooring inspector will provide a detailed report of the damage or defect. There will be a $100 dollar fee charged to the consumer if the findings conclude the consumer is at fault. If the findings suggest there is a manufacturer flaw or defect in materials used, Build-A-Rug will be responsible for the inspection fee and related costs to ship out a replacement rug.

Cancellations To be
considered a Cancelled Order, Build-A-Rug must be notified within 24hrs
of the order either via e-mail or phone conversation. If the order
was already placed to the manufacturer or the order was in-process then
a cancellation is not an option. Please see our return policy
stated above. Purchases that are cancelled prior to order will be
subject to a processing fee. The processing fee will be the going
rate of the clearinghouse that processes the credit card
transactions. This rate varies and will be figured at the
rate in which the purchase was conducted at. This processing fee
will be deducted from the total amount charged on the credit card.
Refunds will be given in the form of a credit card refund (the
processing fee will be deducted from the refund). The card
refunded must be the same card that was used at purchase. If a
customer requests a Cancellation within the allocated timeframe, a
Cancellation form will be sent out by our fraud department.
The form must then be completed and faxed to the number
provided. After the request is received the claim is usually
processed within 5-10 working days. Online Fraud is growing and the
steps taken are for your protection and ours.
